Loughanure is a village situated in the Donegal Gaeltacht inbetween Gweedore and Dungloe, Ireland. Loughanure is famous for it's fishing lake containing plenty of brown trout, salmon and rainbow trout.
The lake is 6km long and 1km wide, this lake contains four islands - one of which (Oileann Treorach) grows the Yew Tree. There is an angling club in the village that run regular fishing competitions throughout the fishing season.
